About the Author

Dongwon Seo was born in Seoul in 1993 and grew up in Incheon. He majored in mechanical engineering and is currently working in the IT industry. His first work, The Moon Glow Bookshop, was released through crowdfunding.

Shanna Tan is a Singaporean translator working from Korean, Chinese, and occasionally Japanese into English. She translated the bestselling Welcome to the Hyunam-dong Bookshop by Hwang Bo-reum (Bloomsbury, 2023). Her translations from Korean also include Yeonnam-dongs Smiley Laundromat by Kim Jiyun (MacLehose Press, 2024) and Marigold Mind Laundry by Jungeun Yun (Doubleday, 2024).
