About the Author

JAMUS JEROME LIMis an Associate Professor ofEconomics at ESSEC Business School and a member of the 14th Parliament ofSingapore, with two decades of expertise in global macroeconomics.

He waspreviously the Chief Economist at Thirdrock Group, an investment management andwealth advisory serving high-net worth clients, as well as the Lead Economistat the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, where he provided insights for itsmulti-hundred billion portfolio.

He was also formerly a Senior Economist withthe World Bank, specializing in international trade and finance for economiesin East and West Asia.
